In order to strengthen the professional foundation of the young teachers in the Senior High School Division and precisely enhance the teaching relevance and the teachers' ability to guide students for the College Entrance Examination, on the morning of August 25th, the Senior High School Division of Anqing Foreign Language School meticulously organized all young teachers of various subjects to participate in the 2025-2026 academic year's Young Teachers' Problem-Solving Competition.
To be concrete, completely following the norms of the College Entrance Examination, from the sealing and distribution of the test papers, to the maintenance of examination discipline, the control of answering time, and the requirements for writing styles, the competition strictly adheres to the examination procedures of the College Entrance Examination. Furthermore, this competition was fully supervised by Director Jiang Shengyou from the Senior High School Division. In the meantime, teachers from all subjects, including Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, and Geography, actively participated, who were required to independently complete a high-quality mock College Entrance Examination paper within the given time limit. Additionally, the competition comprehensively assessed teachers' understanding depth of the core examination points and the trend of the examination questions, as well as their practical application ability in terms of problem-solving strategies and answering techniques.
In conclusion, the Senior High School Division will take this problem-solving competition as an opportunity. Also, through the practical mechanism of 'promoting learning through exams to enhance qualities, and stimulating research through competitions to improve capabilities', the competition will encourage young teachers to actively study the College Entrance Examination evaluation system and precisely overcome the key and difficult points in teaching. Subsequently, Anqing Foreign Language School will organize a centralized marking and problem-solving experience exchange seminar to help teachers effectively convert the competition gains into classroom teaching practices, laying a solid foundation for the comprehensive improvement of high school teaching quality in the 2025-2026 academic year.
